Our YAC Class is an intermediate class for 18+
This class will focus primarily on improving conversation skills.. About 90% of the class interactions will be in Yoruba. However, Reading, Writing and Listening skill will be further developed as well.
- Attendees of this class should already be able to understand information conveyed in simple, sentence-length speech on familiar topics.
- Attendees of this class should already be able to string words and sentences together to convey a message and express themselves around simple ideas and topics.
Most attendees of this class, will almost always be at different levels of language proficiency. Both the learning experience and instruction approach will be customized to suit the needs of the participants in the class.
Note to Existing students : Register for this class if you have previously attended for our previous Intermediate Level ( ABI) Classes.

This class is perfect for me if :
- I would like to improve my Yoruba speaking skill in a judgement free zone.
- I can form simple sentences in Yoruba, but I’d like to practice with other more advanced/ native speakers.
- I want a place to come to practice and ask questions weekly from experience trained instructors.
- I would like to improve my reading and listening skills.
By the end of this class, you will be able to :
- Session 1 and 2: See continuous improvement weekly in your overall Yoruba Listening, reading, and conversation skills. You will gain confidence in speaking Yoruba as you continue to improve with other learners just like you.
